Bilang isang….
Bilang isang Carnate? Magulo, maingay, pasaway, makulit. Kami yan. Yung tipong guguho ang mundo kapag tumahimik kami. Masaya kami sa bawat sandaling lahat kami ay sama sama, yung pati si Sir Michael nasa room at nakikigulo sa amin. Walang basagan ng trip kumbaga. Madalas, hindi kami maintindihan ng ibang tao, pero hangga’t masaya kami at walang naaapektuhan, ipagpapatuloy namin. Hindi man kami minsan magkaintindihan, nagmamahalan kaming lahat at hindi namin pababayaan ang isa’t isa.
Wag mong kakalimutan
Naalala mo ba nung first day? Nung nasa gymnasium tayo at naghihintay ng announcement para sa sections natin. Wala pang kakilala kundi yung dating schoolmate. Kabado kapag napahiwalay at mag-isang graduate ng school mo dun. Iniisip kung paano makikisama sa mga bagong kaklase at kung sino ang unang magiging kaibigan.
Naalala ko nun, sinabi nilang sa I-Carnation ako mapapapunta. Sabi ko pa sa sarili ko na ang malas ko at hindi ko kasama ang dati kong mga kaibigan. Hindi ko alam kung paano magsisimulang mamuhay sa aking panibagong paaralan. Ngunit dahil sa napakakukulit kong kaklase, naging malapit kami sa isa’t isa.
Ang paglalagay namin ng mga black cartolina, pagtakas sa paglilinis, at pag-iingay namin sa klase. Yung pagpunta sa canteen at pagkain ng recess ng lampas sa oras, pagmamadali sa paggawa ng plates, paggawa ng assignments sa room, at pressure sa mga projects. Yan yung mga bagay na hindi ko makakalimutan bilang isang Freshmen at isang Carnate.
